Granite Smoke Oak / Straight Plank
Granite Smoke Oak plank carries a 4mm wear layer of European oak on a multi-layered engineered board, 15mm thick in total. Planks measure 220 × 2200mm, with a tongue and groove fitting profile.
The planks are smoked and then distressed with subtle hand-scraping and cross-sawing treatments to create their rustic appeal. Earthy tones wash over a golden oak base, which is treated with UV oils to finish and protect the special rustic grade oak surface. Their generous dimensions produce a striking and timeless rustic wood floor.

Smoked, brushed, oiled.
The timber is chamber-smoked before finishing. Ammonia reacts with the tannin in the oak and darkens it through the wear layer, so the colour is in the wood rather than on it — a cut edge shows the same tone as the face.
Brushing then opens the grain and clear UV oil seals it. Because smoking works on each board’s own tannin content, tone varies board to board and batch to batch; that variation is inherent to the process, not a fault.
