Shell Oak / Herringbone
Shell Oak Herringbone carries a 3mm wear layer of European oak on a multi-layered engineered board, 14mm thick in total. Blocks measure 90 × 360mm, with a tongue and groove fitting profile.
A light oak herringbone, Shell's surface naturally brightens a space. Its rustic grains and knots remain soft and subtle through the application of an invisible stain, which also keeps the boards looking raw and natural, creating a calming backdrop to modern home design.

Rustic means character.
Rustic grade (CD) works with the natural character of the timber rather than sorting it out. That is worth understanding before you order.
Expect visible knots of varying size, both heartwood and sapwood, colour variation between boards, and small checks and end shake stabilised with tinted filler. These are grade features, not manufacturing defects — they are what the rustic label means.
