Grade Andante
Calm. Sound knots up to 3 cm, cracked knots up to 2 cm. Sapwood on some boards, up to a quarter of the width.
Lively. Knots up to 6 cm. Short splits allowed, up to 15 cm long and 5 mm wide.
Rustic. Sound knots of any size, cracked knots up to 10 cm. Sapwood up to three quarters of the width, all colour variation.
Very rustic. Big knots, cracks and cavities, filled and worked by hand. They are part of the look.
Finish Live Natural
Oiled. Natural oils and waxes applied twice and air-dried. Silky matt.
Lacquered. BOEN's lowest-gloss lacquer. Looks almost like untreated wood.
Lacquered. Six coats of lacquer with a very low gloss, so it looks oiled.
