Is this floor compatible with underfloor heating?
Yes. Compatible with both wet and electric UFH systems up to a surface temperature of 27 °C. Acclimatise for 14 days before installation and ramp the system up gradually over the first week of use.
Can I install this in a kitchen or bathroom?
Yes for kitchens, with a sealed expansion gap around appliances and sinks. Not recommended for bathrooms or wet rooms — use an LVT or SPC product for those areas.
What expansion gap do I need to leave?
10 mm minimum at every wall and fixed object (kitchen units, doorframes, pipes). The expansion gap can be hidden under skirting or scotia trim.
How long does the floor need to acclimatise before fitting?
Minimum 48 hours in the room where it will be installed, with packs flat and unopened. Site temperature should be 18–24 °C and relative humidity 45–65%.
